The **ZED (Zero Defect, Zero Effect)** scheme is an initiative by the Government of India aimed at enhancing the quality and competitiveness of **MSMEs**. It promotes a culture of quality (Zero Defect) and environmental consciousness (Zero Effect).

Certified MSMEs receive significant **financial subsidies** from the government (up to 80% on certification costs) and gain access to preferential treatment in government procurement and tenders.

  • **Financial Subsidy:** Up to 80% of certification cost covered by the government.
